Trader Dreamer: A2 and Laguna, now in brown!

Brown, I keep going on about it and I don't intend to stop anytime soon. In a world which looked very much in danger of being taken over by white cars, we need a new fashionable colour. The car manufacturers seem to agree with me (nothing to do with the fact that it's hard to charge extra for white I'm sure) and cars just keep on launching in this fetching colour. The CLS Shooting Brake is just one recent example.

But getting yourself a Brown car doesn't have to cost you 5 figure sums, I've already focused a blog on the large quantity of brown MINI Clubmans available. While MINI's seem quite popular in this colour, there's plenty of much rarer examples, a few of which which have already been covered on this site, but failed to mention the availability of brown.

First up is the Audi A2, one of my personal favorite 'Trader Dreamers', now made even more desirable by the colour brown. There is currently not one, but two of these fine things on AutoTrader, both the 1.4 model. One priced at a distinctly bargain £1,860, the other at £3,295 from a dealer.

Then there's the Renault Laguna. The original post tried to convince readers that buying a toy laden Laguna 2.0dci Initale was a good idea, despite the cars rater bad reputation for reliability. Unfortunately this brown estate is neither a 2.0dci or an initiale, worth it for the colour alone? Just maybe.
